Your Data Stays Local

MellowMill is a local-first application. All your notes, tasks, and data are stored on your device in your Documents folder. We do not upload or sync your content to any server.

Third-Party AI & Connected Services

If you choose to connect third-party services such as AI providers, your data may be sent to those services according to their own terms and privacy policies. MellowMill does not control how third-party services handle your data.

Website Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service, to understand how visitors interact with our website. It collects aggregate, anonymous statistics such as pages visited, referring source, browser and device type, and approximate geographic location. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, local storage, or any other client-side state, and does not fingerprint or individually track visitors. The data collected is completely anonymous and cannot be used to identify you.

What We Collect

We collect minimal data to operate the product:

• License validation: When you register or activate a license, your email address and order ID are sent to our server to verify your purchase.
• Update checks: The app periodically checks for updates by contacting our update server. No personal data is sent during this process.

Your license and email data is stored on secure servers and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

You may request to have your registration data deleted at any time by contacting us. Note that this may deactivate your access to specific features and functionality you have paid for.

What We Don't Collect

• The MellowMill application does not collect analytics or usage telemetry.
• We do not read or transmit your notes or files.
• Our website does not use cookies, trackers, or fingerprinting of any kind.

Third-Party Services

License purchases are processed by Stripe. Their privacy policy applies to transactions made through their platform.

Changes & Contact

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via the app or our website.
